The interruption lasted only a few seconds before being cut off.

If you go online you'll find tons of pictures of women in Iran in short skirts from before they became a theocracy. There's a substantial percentage of Americans trying to turn our country into something like Iran is. One of them was vice president.

If you don't want the misery and unrest that comes with that along with the brutality now is the last chance you have to stop it.

    • Bullshit. Stop projecting your hangups on everyone else.
    • An authoritarian dictatorship? Sure. A theocracy? I don't think we are in any real danger of that - you need look no further than the man these folks seem to worship so fervently to see that. Even those mini-Trumps running around waiting for him to die only hold onto enough religious talking points to keep that voting bloc onboard. None of these people are ever going to let any God be elevated above themselves, least of all Trump.
  • Tweeting support to the protests does nothing except boost virtual signals. The US does not mean it, it f them The protesters have no strategy. I am not advocating violence, but I mean, if you look at successful overthrows of non-democratic tyrannies they always had violence that matches the force of the rulers. In Iran, the protesters are blind. Sorry to state the reality. If the protesters were organized and intelligent, we'd hear things like Basij members being targeted. And maybe explosions at the Persi
