Freenet 0.3.4 Released 4
Rubidium writes: "Freenet 0.3.4 has just been released. It now includes a fully functional HTTP proxy written in Java named FProxy. It supports both requests and inserts, streams data as it is received from Freenet nodes, does not require a Web server, allows HTML to be used for linking files in Freenet, and generally makes Freenet much easier to use than it was in the past. The node finding page, inform.php, has been relocated and fixed, which makes Freenet actually functional (instead of being functional in name only)."

And, as an added bonus, it's all encrypted, anonymous, decentralized, and has the ability to offer freedom of speech for files other than just pr0n and mp3s.

Now, of course, this just makes things HARDER, not IMPOSSIBLE, but it's a pretty big barrier against it having the same "point-and-click" ease that made Napster so popular...
