Digital Rights Management Judiciary Hearing Tomorrow 13
uqbar writes: "The U.S. House Subcommittee on the Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual property will be holding a hearing on June 5th at 2pm. The hearing is entitled "DRM: The Consumer Benefits of Today's Digital Rights Management Solutions." It will have live audio streams and might also be on CSPAN 2 or 3. Attendees include reps from Microsoft, Adobe, Center Span and SunnComm. I just wonder who, in that bunch, is supposedly representing the consumers, not to mention independant 'content' creators like musicians and music producers."
Who is representing them? No one (Score:1)
Perhaps the congress-people are supposed to represent us?

That's the theory. In practice, this meeting is between the congresspeople and the only constituents that matter to them.
Short hearing. (Score:3, Funny)
Should be a short hearing.
How long does it take to traverse a list of length zero?

They will probably end up in a non-terminating loop. If we are truly lucky, they'll simply debate it forever!

At least they make a showing. (Score:2, Interesting)
