ObviousGuy's Journal: This the end of the road?

I created this account a couple weeks ago to point out what I felt were obvious things on /. This included obvious opinions, obvious spelling mistakes, obvious trolls, and so on and so forth.

What has become blatantly obvious is that stating the obvious has become such a novelty that moderators don't seem to think twice in modding it up Informative or Insightful or Interesting.

As a result, about a week into this experiment I had already hit the karma cap. What a letdown.

It seems that anything that isn't trolling is modded up these days. Heck, even things that are are still modded up.
