From the above source, it appears that the real murderer, Mauriceo Brown (he admitted to the murder), was executed in 2006. Kenneth Forster was just the driver of the car, but the Texas court ruled that (from the link above) "there is no difference between the perpetrator of a crime and an accomplice when the accomplice had prior knowledge that the crime would happen".
