An anonymous reader writes "With the time fast approaching when we will be changing our clocks again, the Wall Street Journal is running an interesting article. It discusses a study done by University of California-Santa Barbara economics professor Matthew Kotchen and Ph.D. student Laura Grant that suggests Daylight Saving Time not only doesn't save any energy, it actually wastes energy and costs more. I'll admit I am biased and have felt DST is a waste-of-time for years, but what do you think?"
