On Tuesday, the USPTO awarded IBM a patent for Mode Switching for Ad Hoc Checkbox Selection, aka Making an 'X'. BTW, isn't this essentially the same concept as the older Lotus Notes selection model that IBM was recently asked to reintroduce?"
